Additional Information

Did your John Deere valve guide give up on you? We're here to help. Our replacement HC217-3859 valve guide is built tough and fits tractors, and log skidders, including the John Deere 420 tractor, John Deere 430 tractor, and John Deere 440 log skidder. We strive to keep your John Deere running for the long term, which is why we sell quality valve guides that are built to last.

It can be pricey to replace a valve guide on the John Deere 420, 430, 440, or really any equipment. That's why we sell new high quality valve guides direct at often lower prices than even a used John Deere valve guide!

Price is just one part of the equation though- quality matters too. We don't want you replacing your valve guide more than you need to, which is why we back our parts with an industry leading warranty. Even if your 420, 430, or 440 is not your main piece of equipment, TractorJoe knows that having it up and running is always important.

Our team is trained and ready to help. So if you're looking for parts for your John Deere 420, John Deere 430, or any other machine, we've got you covered. Our Q / A community is filled with answers to common issues and our staff will always assist with your John Deere equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions
When will I get my items?
Once your items have shipped it takes around 2 to 4 days to arrive at your location. You can track the shipment to find the expected delivery date or if there are any issues that have caused a shipping delay. Destinations outside the continental US will take additional time for delivery.
What if I will not be available to receive my shipment?
We've got you covered! Delivery carriers will generally let you leave a signed note on your door with instructions. UPS will generally leave a ground shipment at the door in rural and suburban locations without a note. You can also instruct the UPS driver to take it back to the customer service center for pickup if you do not want it left. For detailed information please contact the delivery carrier.
Can you ship to an APO/FPO address?
We unfortunately are no longer able to ship to AFO/FPO addresses.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs vary based on product weights and where you're sending it to. You can calculate shipping costs in the shopping cart or checkout page.
