About the Allis-Chalmers 6080
The first Allis-Chalmers 6080 Tractors went out of the factory gates in 1980 and they kept building them until 1985. Regardless of whether you initially got a deal on your tractor (lower than the initial price of $30,000 (1985)), with TractorJoe you'll get the best deal on the spare parts you need. You can find in our inventory every kind of spare part you might need to keep your Allis-Chalmers 6080 Tractor running smoothly. Make sure you have access to your tractor serial number, because there is a chance that the Allis-Chalmers 6080 parts you need depend on that serial number. Usually, the serial number is printed on the engine adapter housing, right side. That serial number is determined by the year of manufacturing, so for a 1980 model, it starts with 1001, for a 1981 model it starts with 1152, for a 1982 model it starts with 3002, for a 1983 model it starts with 4567, for a 1984 model it starts with 5780, for a 1985 model it starts with 6853, for a final model it starts with 7698. Some Allis-Chalmers 6080 Tractors have a 4x2 2WD chassis, but there are also some with a 4x4 MFWD 4WD (optional) chassis, all equipped with hydrostatic power steering. They also have differential hydraulic wet disc brakes. The type II 3-point hitch is very reliable. It is also worth noting that the independent rear PTO runs at 540/1000 rpms.
