More about the International Harvester 1026

The International Harvester 1026 Tractor was manufactured between 1970 and 1971. Sold initially at a price of $11,800 (1971), the International Harvester 1026 Tractor had a few price variations, so if you got it for less, you found a great deal! We have all the parts you need for your International Harvester 1026 Tractor to keep it running. Sometimes, the parts compatibility is determined by the serial number of your International Harvester 1026 Tractor, and that info should be listed on the part fit notes. If you don't have the serial number of your tractor, you can find it on the hydrostatic housing, left side. The serial number starts from 7501 (IH) for a 1970 model, from 7550 (IH) for a 1971 model, from 7501 (Farmall) for a 1970 model, from 9707 (Farmall) for a 1971 model. Some International Harvester 1026 Tractors have a 4x2 2WD chassis, but there are also some with a 4x4 MFWD 4WD (optional) chassis, all equipped with hydrostatic power steering. They also have differential hydraulic dry disc brakes. The type II 3-point hitch is very reliable. It is also worth noting that the independent rear PTO runs at 540/1000 rpms.
