More about the John Deere 5100M
The first John Deere 5100M Tractors went out of the factory gates in 2012 and they kept building them until 2013. Sometimes, the parts compatibility is determined by the serial number of your John Deere 5100M Tractor, and that info should be listed on the part fit notes. If you don't have the serial number of your tractor, you can find it on the right side of the tractor frame, above the front axle. Some John Deere 5100M Tractors have a 4x2 2WD chassis, but there are also some with a 4x4 MFWD 4WD chassis, all equipped with hydrostatic power steering. They also have hydraulic wet disc brakes. The type 2/1 3-point hitch is very reliable, capable to lift 8093 lbs [3670 kg]. It is used with a position control and lower-link draft sensing. It is also worth noting that the independent rear PTO runs at 540/540E rpms and the fact that there are not many tractors equipped with an independent*Optional front PTO like this one.
