More about the John Deere 750
The first John Deere 750 Tractors went out of the factory gates in 1981 and they kept building them until 1989. Make sure you have access to your tractor serial number, because there is a chance that the John Deere 750 parts you need depend on that serial number. Usually, the serial number is printed below PTO. That serial number is determined by the year of manufacturing, so for a 1981 model, it starts with 1000, for a 1982 model it starts with 3448, for a 1983 model it starts with 5613, for a 1984 model it starts with 8957, for a 1985 model it starts with 13001, for a 1986 model it starts with 18501, for a 1987 model it starts with 22601, for a 1988 model it starts with 26450. Some John Deere 750 Tractors have a 4x2 2WD chassis, but there are also some with a 4x4 MFWD 4WD, power optional chassis, all equipped with manual steering. They also have differential mechanical dry, internal expanding shoe brakes. The type I 3-point hitch is very reliable. It is also worth noting that the transmission rear PTO runs at 540 rpms and the fact that there are not many tractors equipped with an independent*Optional front PTO like this one.
