Shipping and Returns

Return Policies

  • Before returning a product, you must call or e-mail for a Return Authorization Number.
  • Different items may have different return instructions and locations, you must call or e-mail for instructions specific to the item you are returning.
  • Returns sent without a Return Authorization Number will not be accepted.
  • Return shipments sent to an address other than the location specified in the return instructions will be refused and sent back to you at your expense.

  • Returns are for store credit only.
  • Returns may be made up to 30 days of the order date, and are subject to a 20% restocking charge.
  • A copy of the original invoice or packing slip must be included with a note describing the reason for the return.
  • All returns must be shipped with the freight prepaid. COD or freight collect returns will not be accepted.
  • Pack the item in its original packaging with all instructions, warranty cards, and any attachments, unless otherwise instructed. All parts must be complete, uninstalled, and undamaged.

  • Disassembled, damaged, previously installed, and custom parts cannot be returned. See our warranty policy for items that have been installed.
  • We do our best to help you figure out what's wrong with your machine. However, TractorJoe.com has no official responsibility in the diagnosis or troubleshooting of a problem. The responsibility of ordering the correct part remains with the customer and/or their technician.
  • All returns decisions will be made solely at the discretion of TractorJoe.com.

 

Standard 1 year Warranty Policy

  • Most parts are guaranteed by TractorJoe.com to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of up to one year from the date of purchase. The exact period varies by part.
  • Before returning a product, you must call or e-mail for a Return Authorization Number and return instructions.
  • Return shipments sent to an address other than the location specified in the return instructions will be refused and sent back to you at your expense.
  • The warranty does not cover defects caused by abuse, mishandling, accident, improper installation or application, the malfunction of another component or part of any device in which the product is installed or with which the product interfaces, or extend to products which have been modified or repaired by anyone other than the manufacturer.
  • TractorJoe.com’s liability caused by a defective part is limited only to the shipment of a replacement part. We will not be responsible for labor costs, downtime, freight costs, lost crops, or any other associated costs, for any reason.
  • Exchanges for parts that become faulty prior to the end of the warranty period must be shipped to a location instructed by TractorJoe.com at the customer’s expense. If we find the part to be defective, we will issue a store credit to the customer for the cost of shipping, up to the dollar amount listed under current UPS Ground list rates for the weight and size of the package. The replacement will be shipped at TractorJoe.com’s expense.
  • Any product with a warranty card that must be filled out and returned will not be warranted unless the warranty card was returned with the required information, and within the required time period.
  • Any product listed with a warranty period at the date of purchase will maintain that warranty period, even if the listed warranty period for that product changes at a later date.

Certain items may have additional warranty requirements, and vary by part and manufacturer.
These items include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Air conditioning compressors
  • Clutch pressure plates and kits
  • Hydraulic pumps
  • Torque amplifiers and components
  • Hydrostatic drive pumps and motors
  • Air compressors
  • Power washers
  • Space heaters
  • Wet/dry vacuums
  • Power generation units
  • Items that include returnable warranty cards
  • Pistons, rings, or liners ordered outside of an overhaul kit

 

Items with warranty periods different than standard

  • Certain items may have limited warranty periods longer than 1 year, and this will be specified with the documentation included with the item.
  • Certain items may have limited warranty periods shorter than 1 year, see the list of items with additional warranty requirements for examples.
  • Any product listed with a warranty period at the date of purchase will maintain that warranty period, even if the listed warranty period for that product changes at a later date.
  • Mechanical torque amplifiers have a 6 month warranty.
  • Torque amplifier components and mechanical TA elimination kits have a 6 month warranty.
  • Torque amplifier warranties start at the date of installation and continue for the warranty period provided at that date.
  • The warranty card included with the torque amplifier may allow you a warranty period longer than 1 year. In order for the warranty to be valid, the card must be returned with any required information.
  • Oil, seals, gaskets, and lube baffles, are not covered under the TA warranty terms unless explicitly specified.
  • Any product, including torque amplifiers, with a warranty card that must be filled out and returned will not be warranted unless the warranty card was returned with the required information, and within the required time period.
  • Warranty on clutch pressure plates and kits will be invalidated if release levers are burnt or bent, oil contamination is present, hub splines are damaged, or if damage is due to overloading, abuse, or improper flywheel condition/step specification.
  • Warranty on hydraulic pumps will be invalidated if they are damaged by improper rotation, damage from overpressure due to failure of an external valve, damage from oil contamination or incorrect oil type/viscosity, or if fittings are stripped due to incorrect bolt or screw installation.

Warranty is not provided for wear, maintenance, and other items, unless defective.
These items include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Clutch and Brake Linings
  • Filters (Air, Fuel, Oil, Hydraulic, etc)
  • Light Bulbs
  • Belts
  • Cutting Blades
  • Tiller tines and rake teeth
  • Bucket Teeth
  • Injector Nozzles
  • Spark Plugs
  • Lubricants & Coolants
  • PTO Adapters that reduce to smaller shaft
  • Certain items listed as Special Order

 

Shipping Charges

All shipping charges displayed on this site are estimated. Actual charges cannot be determined until the full order is packed and weighed. The cardholder may be billed shipping charges at the actual posted rates of the carrier specified and not at the sites estimated cost. Some large items must be sent by motor freight and will be billed at the actual cost from the carrier, and not at the sites estimated cost. Please note that all shipping promotions are valid in the continental U.S. only.

 

Shipping to destinations in Canada

Shipments to Canada may be consolidated at a single location in the US in order to reduce the amount of packages processed through customs. Any additional charges incurred should be minimal and will be much less expensive than multiple packages would.
You will still be responsible for any applicable customs and duty charges assessed by UPS and the provincial government, as they are not included in the shipping rate.

UPS standard service is not available to Nunavut, Yukon, or the Northwest Territories. These locations require UPS Worldwide Saver service. You will be contacted with a quote prior to shipping. Additional shipping options may be available.
